Return Policy
General Information
These IT Hardware Bin ("IT Hardware Bin," "we," or "our") Standard Return Policies apply
exclusively to products purchased directly from the IT Hardware Bin website (www.ithardwarebin.com).
All product returns require a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an
RMA number and further instructions, please contact IT Hardware Bin Customer Service by calling
(832) 548-4409 or emailing info@ithardwarebin.com.
While we make every effort to ensure that our products are delivered in excellent condition, some
refurbished items may not include original manufacturer packaging, peripheral accessories, or
manuals.
Products Ineligible for Return
The following products are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
- • Products not purchased directly from IT Hardware Bin.
- • Products explicitly labeled as "No Returns / Cancellations" during the purchasing
process.
- • Products missing valid, legible serial numbers, including those with damaged, altered, or
removed serial numbers.
- • Products returned without all original packaging and accessories, including retail boxes,
manuals, cables, and other items included with the product.
- • Products from which the UPC code or barcode has been removed.
- • Products exhibiting physical damage not caused by shipping or manufacturing defects.
- • Products for which a mail-in rebate has already been submitted.
Return Guidelines
IT Hardware Bin investigates and evaluates each return request individually to ensure fairness,
accuracy, and adherence to policy. Common scenarios for returns and their respective guidelines
include:
(a) I Received an Incorrect Item
- • Notify us within 10 days of receiving the incorrect item to obtain an RMA number.
- • Certain items may qualify for exchange only and not for refund.
- • It is the customer’s responsibility to ship the incorrect item back to IT Hardware Bin
using a trackable shipping method (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- • Products must arrive within 10 days of the RMA issuance. If the error is determined to be
ours, we will issue a full refund and reimburse your shipping costs. However, if the error
is determined to be the customer’s, rule (c) below will apply.
(b) I Received a Non-Working (DOA) Product
- • Notify us within 10 days of receipt to request an RMA number.
- • Certain items may qualify for exchange only and not for refund.
- • Ship the defective product back to IT Hardware Bin using a trackable shipping method.
- • Products must arrive within 10 days of the RMA issuance. If the product is verified as
defective upon receipt, we will issue a full refund and reimburse your shipping costs. If
customer error is identified, rule (c) below will apply.
(c) I Ordered the Wrong Item
- • Notify us within 10 days of receipt to request an RMA number.
- • Some parts are exchangeable but not refundable.
- • The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the item. Products must arrive
within 10 days of the RMA issuance.
- • A 20% restocking fee or a minimum charge of $50 will apply, whichever is higher.
Restocking fees of up to 40% may apply for special-order items.
- • Items explicitly marked as "No Returns / Cancellations" are not eligible for return.
Refunds and Shipping Labels
To minimize waste and promote sustainability, return shipping labels are issued only upon
request. Customers are expected to cover return shipping costs for orders with free shipping.
Refunds will not exceed the total amount charged and captured at the time of purchase. Please
note:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account records. For certain
transactions, this process may take longer.
Exchange Guidelines
Exchanging Products:
- Exchanges are limited to replacing an RMA item with an identical or equivalent replacement.
- We do not exchange RMA items for different items.
- If the product warranty period is valid and the product is found to be defective, you may
request an exchange. We will assist in ensuring you receive a working replacement.
Order Cancellation Guidelines
Canceling an Order:
- Orders can only be canceled by contacting IT Hardware Bin Customer Service at (832) 548-4409
or emailing info@ithardwarebin.com.
- Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled. In such cases, please refer to our
return guidelines to initiate a return after receiving the product.
